Overall the change looks good, although I do try and keep things sorted alphabetically in the template to help find things easier. That being said, what's the userbase for Mastodon like? I'm not on social media much any more and my understanding is that Academic Twitter migrated to Bluesky.

I don't know about the statistics but mastodon being federated means it's not so trivial to add a share button, as you have to find a way to let the user choose its own mastodon instance to share on. So it's not really a matter of how well it's supported but more about making it more accessible. If you really prefer I can make it a comment this way it's easy to add for people that use it. I would strongly prefer to keep it on by default though.

Thanks! The social media sharing as a whole is a bit tricky they can be cyclic or ones that really aren't used much any more. At some point in the future it might need to be refactored a bit more again.
